Danville City Council sets May 19 business and work sessions

The City of Danville has posted agendas for its Tuesday, May 19, 2026 City Council sessions, with a business meeting beginning at 7:00 p.m. and a work session immediately afterward. Both sessions are scheduled on the fourth floor of the Municipal Building at 427 Patton Street.

According to the city, work sessions are used to review non-routine matters that will come forward for action in later business meetings. That makes the May 19 schedule an important checkpoint for residents and business owners tracking policy and project decisions before final votes.

The city says the business session will air on River City TV, including cable broadcast and streaming on the River City TV Facebook page. Agenda materials are available through the city's posted online council documents.

For Danville residents monitoring budget items, infrastructure plans, and development proposals, this session sequence can offer an early read on priorities likely to shape coming council votes.
