Danville Police family gala set for May 30 at 1 Community Way

The Danville Police Department is continuing sign-ups for its first Family Gala, scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 1 Community Way.

Department notices describe the event as free, with dancing, prizes, and a meal. Doors open at 3 p.m., and the main event runs from 4 to 6 p.m. in the department's multipurpose room.

For Danville families, the gala is part of a wider run of police community-engagement programming heading into the summer, including youth and outreach events listed in the department's May calendar.

Residents planning to attend should register through the city-provided link or contact Cpl. Brooks at the police department. The city notice also says donations are being accepted through the same contact.
