A local musician will join the Liberty Fire Department on Sept. 11 for a solemn remembrance.
Tom Farr has played the bugle call Taps for the past 15 years on Sept. 11 in honor of those who lost their lives in the terrorist attack, and this year he will join firefighters at the Liberty Fire Department at 515 West Swannanoa Avenue for the observance. The public is invited to attend.
Taps will be played at scheduled times during the ceremony as the community remembers the 24th anniversary of the attacks.
