Police are investigating after a shooting in Greensboro on Sunday night.

According to the Greensboro Police Department, officers were called just before 9:30 p.m. to Summit Avenue for a report of an assault. At the scene, they found a person who had been shot, and the victim was taken to a hospital.

The investigation is ongoing and no further details were released. Anyone with information is being asked to contact Greensboro/Guilford Crime Stoppers.
