— The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is investigating an early morning shooting in the Henry community that left a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

According to investigators, deputies were called around 5:15 a.m. Monday, November 2, to the 2600 block of Providence Church Road.

Preliminary information indicates that a male victim was shot multiple times by an unknown assailant.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is currently listed in stable condition.

Investigators have not identified the person responsible, and the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
