Camel City Yacht Club booked for Aug. 22 Summer on Fourth in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM — Camel City Yacht Club is scheduled to headline the next Summer on Fourth concert from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, in front of Foothills Brewing at 638 W. Fourth St.

Visit Winston-Salem lists the event as a free downtown concert and identifies the Aug. 22 performance as a yacht-rock night. The Summer on Fourth series brings live music to Fourth Street on selected Saturdays through early September.

Attendees may bring outside food, but the venue’s event guidance says outside alcohol is not allowed. Small coolers may be inspected, and visitors should plan for an outdoor street setting with nearby food and drink options.

The City of Winston-Salem’s approved special-events calendar also lists Summer on Fourth for Aug. 22. People traveling through the Fourth Street area should allow extra time around the evening event and check the city’s street-closure page for the latest access information.
