Henry County's public safety facilities recently served as a regional training hub for emergency medical professionals, firefighters, law enforcement officers, hospital personnel and other first responders.
The county says the AirLife Virginia Pulse Expo, hosted by AirLife Virginia in partnership with the Henry County Department of Public Safety, offered three days of education focused on improving patient care from basic life support through advanced critical care.
Training topics included pediatric emergencies, burn care, cardiology, vasoactive medications and other emergency-medicine subjects. The county said participants earned continuing education hours while working through lecture and hands-on sessions.
