Roanoke Orange Avenue lane closure set for Tuesday morning

Roanoke drivers should plan for a short but potentially noticeable lane closure on Orange Avenue this week.

The city says one westbound lane of Orange Avenue between 13th Street and Hollins Road will close beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2026. The lane is expected to reopen by noon the same day.

Because westbound traffic will be restricted to one lane during the morning work window, the city says motorists should expect delays. Drivers, cyclists and pedestrians are urged to use caution around crews and equipment.
